off his feed

(note: this post actually happened yesterday.)
Rainbow slept from about 9:30 last night until 6:30 this morning, solidly.  And then didn’t want much to do with a bottle this morning.  (He did have a pretty good breakfast of cereal, prunes, sweet potatoes, and applesauce, though.)  He’s napping contentedly now, sans bottle.

Somehow, I’m not so worried that he’ll shrivel up and blow away.

Check it, lady, it’s all in the angles. I look almost skinny here:

In other news: The Fishmaster is 13 going on, like, 27.

AND my impatiens are not only still alive, but blooming!

Note the carefully angled shot that encompasses maximum bloomage and minimal weeds and dead clay zone. I am an ARTIST.

Bill was the same way when he was about that age… He was never a good nurser… and then was always more interested in food than bottle. I would go through 75 jars of baby food every other week and more cereal than I thought possible… I didn’t even know it was possible to have a baby that liked cereal… But it did make sense for us once Bill was old enough to visit the dentist… He had a “heavy tongue attachment” which made sucking on a bottle more work. We eventually had it clipped just before his fifth birthday. But he has always been big, and continues to be thicker than Jack.

    Miracle Gro.

    Works like a champ.

It works great on impatiens, too.

    Snicker, snicker, GRIN…

Hi Peggy! I would love to see your boys! I bet they are so handsome. That’s interesting about little Bill’s eating habits – poor guy was starving, huh. Rockinrolla has always been thicker than the Fishmaster, too, and loved food early on, while the Fishmaster wasn’t interested until he was 9-10 months, really. Rainbow chows on the cereal too. It seems so gross and bland, but he doesn’t protest at all, so I guess he likes it.

And yeah, Meghan, there must be something in our water…
